The Role of Study Group Moderator

There are 3 Study Groups. They are learning networks for discussions between teachers, tutors and moderators from all countries participating in the course. The working language of the groups is English.

In each group, there is a moderator, and their role is:

  • To describe the theme of the group
  • To open the discussion and invite constributions
  • To chair the discission by commenting on, questionning and summarising contributions.
  • To draw the discussion towards conclusions about the teaching of Reading in Europe

The Themes of the groups are:

Study Group 1: Community and Culture
Study Group 2: Learning to Read in the Quality School
Study Group 3: Learning to Read
